If you like 19th century literature you may wish to know about the following. It is not British but maybe you would enjoy it.
For the month of October, the NYT is running a special blog on War and Peace. It seems to me to be pretty thoughtful stuff if you have any interest along those lines.
What I am going to do is copy the whole thing and set it aside for when I read the book again.
Note:
We all have our own taste and I am not sure I agree with the new Pevear translation and how it flows. I prefer the Elizabeth Garnett edition ...... but each to his own.
