I'm reading All Day Long, which is about different workers and kinds of work in the UK and is very interesting and well done so far.

I'm browsing Children of the Blitz Robert Westall was a young teen during the war and his experiences led him to collect more stories and craft them into some great children's novels.

I finished up the interesting When Tenants Claimed the City: the Struggle for Citizenship in New York Housing by Roberta Gold. I've moved to a Civil War history, The Guns of Cedar Creek by Thomas A. Lewis.

I finished Winter Fortress on Wednesday, then started and finished fathermothergod in two days, and now I am working on Fetch the Devil.

@jillbone, I have Girls of Atomic City and am excited to get to that one.

>9 SylviaC: I liked it, but as a warning, he does jump around quite a bit.

>10 slug9000: I liked The Girls of Atomic City but found the little filler subchapters to be boring and unneeded.

I loved both of Forsyth's books in audio format!

Currently reading Walking the Kiso Road, author's travels along that historical Japanese route -- definitely recommended! Just finished another book of which I'm now a great fan: Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.

>13 Seajack: I am a fan of Smoke Gets in Your Eyes too. It's a great, compassionate look at an industry that can be a bit macabre. And written by a very interesting person.

I finished reading Unfair: The New Science of Criminal Injustice. It looks at the various ways our mind works, often without our awareness, that render our judicial system unjust, from bias based on appearance, to malleable memories. While some of this information was not new to me, seeing it all together with its impact upon the judicial process was sobering. He ends the book with some possible solutions, some simple to adopt, all worthy of serious consideration.
