Broadcaster Gordon Honeycombe died October 9 at the age of 79. His books include Dragon under the Hill, The Murders of the Black Museum and Year of the Princess.

Presenter for the BBC version of Antiques Roadshow, Hugh Scully died October 8 at the age of 72. He wrote Antiques Roadshow- A-Z of Antiques Hunting.

Solla Carrock, LibraryThing author, died this past Thursday, October 22nd at the age of 63. She'd been an active member of the LibraryThing community since joining in 2009. In 2012, she founded Running Girl Press, through which she published her first novel in 2013 The Things That Always Were and, later that year, a fantasy novella Eggtooth. Her poetry and short stories appeared in numerous publications over the years, including Naming : Poems by 8 Women and Mothers and Fathers: Being Parents, Remembering Parents. A month before her passing, she published her final work A Fabulous Opera, an anthology of book reviews by LibraryThing members that she co-edited and illustrated. Solla Carrock was a fabulous friend to many here on LibraryThing. She will be sorely missed.
