A couple of months ago, on a plane from London to Guyana, I happened to be sitting next to an actress (playing Gertrude) involved in the Globe Theatre's touring Hamlet production. The company is visiting almost every country in the world on a pretty gruelling schedule. It would be a great opportunity for people "off the beaten track" to see the play. More info and dates here: http://globetoglobe.shakespearesglobe.com/hamlet/the-show

Thanks for posting. I looked at the schedule and while I didn't find the dates anywhere near me, they do have many dates very much off the beaten path. It's like a listing of the most exotic places in the world.

Yes, she told me that they aim to visit "every country". So far they had been to most of the African and Central American major cities and were on their South American leg. They were even negotiating a show in North Korea.
