Guy Adams' take on Sherlock Holmes

Besides writing a season guide to the BBC Sherlock series, Adams has written two original Holmes novels, S.H. and the Breath of God, and S.H. and the Army of Dr. Moreau. He lacks some of the period style language called for, and his writing style is more like reading a script than a novel (his chapter's are more like scenes in a TV script ending at commercial breaks, BUT the personalities of Holmes and Watson perfectly mirror the personalities of Downey and Law in the two recent Holmes movies. If you'd like to enjoy two more enjoyable Downey outings, these books are for you.
