Like my last post I was wondering if there was a way to find out if some books had already been made into movies. This book Laurence A Love Story by Didier Decoin I picked up at a thrift store. It even has at the end the Author Info at the inside back cover that it was being worked on to being made into a movie but I cant find it anywhere? Maybe it never happened but if anyone knows anything about this Id love to find it. It might be under a different name or something.

A good place to check is at IMDb. The author of a source novel (or other media) should normally be given a writing credit on a film so searching on an author's name would be a good way to answer your question.

Laurence A Love Story, by Didier Decoin, if this is the correct version. I looked up the author on IMDb and he has many film credits to his name, but many are in French, which I do not speak, so perhaps it was done but under another title. :)
