The serviving brother takes his enemies the english daughter and suduces her, gets her pregnant then while taking her back on his boat he drugs her when she wakes up she's back home with her mean father and mean husband, he trys kicking her down the stairs, she breaks her leg. oh yeah the mom is irish also. The brother finds her, goes back the the man who loves her and tells him what happens, when he gets there she's just given birth to his twins, he has to nurse them to health and get her to forgive him for what he did to her. thats all i can remeber but it's driving me crazy, so please help me find the author and title.

yes about a year or so ago. it just popped back in my head and i can't for the life of me remeber who wrote it or the name. i read kathlene woodwiess, and johanna lindsey, and lisa kley pass. but i don't think it's any of those. what i wrote is about the middle or end of the book.

Google suggests to me a few matches on various keywords: Lindsey's Gentle Rogue (pirates, twins), Catherine Coulter's Prince of Ravenscar (shipping smugglers, mystery); and Annee Carter's The Promise of Your Touch (Irish, pirates). Any of those titles sound likely?

Probably not Gentle Rogue. The h goes aboard the ship dressed as a boy; and the H (captain of the ship) is an ex-pirate.
