Am I really the only one still reading along? :) (Although as usual I'm actually a bit behind.) If so, I'll stop posting threads here and just post thoughts in my regular challenge thread. No problem either way!

So about a 100 pages in and enjoying this book once again. I don't think I have read it since I bought it in 2001/02. But I was thinking idly, as I read, that if they ever made Black house into a movie (which would probably be a terrible idea, but still) that Jeremy Irons would be a perfect Henry Leyden. I have no real opinions on anyone else, but I think that he would nail that character spot on. He would, without a doubt, be an awesome and fashionable blind man.

It's been about that long since I read the book as well. From my memory, while it wasn't bad, I found it a huge let-down. The Talisman was so fabulous, and then Black House... meh it just didn't compare at all.

I like both, the characters are just too good. But being halfway through Black House I realize I really need to get and read Talisman next year.

Just finished this one (I'm a bit behind schedule), and I have to say, I preferred The Talisman. I think because the Territories didn't feature as much in this one, although when they did, I was hooked. And Madcow, that's a great suggestion to have Jeremy Irons play Henry Leyden! I had a hard time picturing him in my head as I was reading but he definitely fits Henry's description.
