I counted, and I only bought 7 books last month: 4 new and 3 used. Yay. Since I'm broker than broke right now, this makes me happy.

No purchase yet, but an ARC: The Bridegroom Wore Plaid by Grace Burrowes. This is historical romance. Have several of hers now, have yet to read one.

Well I technically bought it a month ago but BookDepository sucks these days and so today my 50th anniv edition of A Wrinkle in Time was reordered. I'm still eagerly anticipating its arrival!

The public library organised a book swap during a local fair here, so I took some books out that I didn't like and got four new ones; among them a handy herbal dictionary and Prague by Arthur Phillips, a book which mostly takes place in Budapest.

Come Find Me Two Years Ago...

Six words that propel ice-hockey-playing tomboy, Arizona, into an alternate dimension.

She suddenly finds herself living the life of a glamorous cheerleader. She finds herself transported from her happy life with her dad to living with the mother she hates.

Everyone knows her as Arizona Darley, but she isn't. She is Arizona Stevens.

As she struggles to find answers she is certain of two things -- that her mother is somehow responsible, and that she wants to go back home to her real life.

That's until she meets Kellan...

PORTAL is the first book of the Portal Chronicles.

Another ARC: Marmee & Louisa by Eve La Plante, which is of course about Louisa May Alcott and her mother.

Went on a bit of a Nabokov binge, ordered The Annotated Lolita and Lectures on Literature from Abebooks, Nikolai Gogol and Strong Opinions from Bookdepository, and Speak, Memory: An Autobiography Revisited, Lectures on Russian Literature, and Bend Sinister from Amazon. Can't wait to get them!
