This time the convention moves east and will take place in downtown Baltimore at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel July 5 – 8, 2013. The convention is a celebration of Sir Terry Pratchett as creator of the Discworld and, of course, other works by the man in the hat himself.
The turtle moved and in another place and time the Maryland blue crab replaced it. Welcome to a convention based in L-Space! This is the convention that can take you to another place, another time… in an age of wander. Think of us as your friendly librarians guiding you through.
As you may well know, L-Space links every library, everywhere at every possible time. The convention committee has been planning and plotting and working with some amazing ideas. Also, the costume possibilities are enormous! This could be the first convention to have the complete cast of Discworld in one place at the same time! Now where did we put those sewing machines…
