Shutesbury Library Video: 900 sq ft library (raising money to get new building)--sweet fundraising a

Just saw this video and thought it was sweet. Apparently the town has this tiny 1902 library and need to raise 1.4 million by June to get a new library building.

The video is sweet and shows how crowded their current space is for people. I thought you all might enjoy seeing the shelves and space.

I took a drive (Google Earth street View) through Shutesbury to see the library in situ. It's a great building, if too small - I wonder what they plan to do with it. Be sad if it's flattened to make room for the new library.

And they are unhappy about the composting toilet! Why? It's so green.

One town we visited turned over the old library to the local historical society. Perhaps something similar is planned here?
