Having attempted the 50 book challenge last year and finishing with a total of 57 I thought I would bump it up and try to read more books this year.... I don't comment much on other's posts but I will stalk you to see what books you are reading to find books that might interest me.....

Welcome! Bones of Faerie looks interesting. How was it?

To me it was a little slow going at first... but then it picked up... One thing that bothered me was that they never really went into a lot of detail on why the world had gone to war with faerie.... i enjoyed it though and would recommend it for a very quick read

So far this year I'm up to 6 books.... I think I need to bump it up... I have a list of five that I want to get through.... any recommendations are more than welcome....
I reread the Hunger Games series this year because it was one that I really enjoyed.... I'm looking for more books on the dystopia theme... if you can think of anything in particular that is good let me know!

For dystopia books, I haven't read it but I've heard nothing but good things about Divergent (and it's hanging out on my TBR list). The Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld was ok (I liked the first book but thought the series went down hill from there). And if you're looking for non-YA dystopias, I really loved Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

I'm adding Matched to my list of TBR.... I had the opportunity to read it for free for an hour at Barnes and Noble on my Nook and wished I had the money to by it just then.... but it will be purchased in the very near future... a YA dystopia that had me very hooked from the beginning.... I could always go back for an hour a day to read it for free.... but that would require I find time to do it.... oh well.... moving on.... Insurgent comes out next month... can we say excited!

Well I have slacked off the last couple of months.... I learned how to crochet and have been steadily going at that.... Gotta get back into the reading thing.... at the moment I'm reading Taken at Dusk by C.C. Hunter .... and on the TBR list.... Insurgent by Veronica Roth and Rapture by Lauren Kate ... not sure what will be after that.... but I'm sure that I'll find something good somewhere!

I forgot how nice it is not having to work in the summer.... and how I can totally get through a book a day.... maybe I will reach my goal ..... Insurgent was just as great as Divergent and Matched and Crossed were great too!.... currently reading City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments Series #1) by Cassandra Clare

City of Bones was very good..... i was a little disappointed in the end I really wanted more for Jace and Clary.... but I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series.... once a get a little bit of money to buy them.... Barnes and Noble had Cassandra Clare as their author pick for the nook on Friday so I was able to get City of Bones for only a $1.... the rest are full price or I have to pay my fine at the library in order to check them out....

The fines are never that bad... but they add up because I always forget to return my books.... and because I use three different cities libraries I end up owing a fortune... I love the library but I stink at due dates....
