I don't know if this would be fun for anyone or not, but thought I would try. We would start, knowing the book is Hogfather, but the quotes would be a description of a character which is in that book, and the guess would be to guess which character.

Here is a start if anyone else wants to play.
"...gave it the look of a small malignant wingnut."

extra ice cream points if you can tell what gave it that look. :)

Can I just get the ice cream points? Because I think I remember what gave it the look... but cannot remember at all who it was that had the look

*hands AnnieMod a free ice cream cone on good faith* :)

Hat worn very low and pointy ears :) Do I need to give you the ice-cream back?

Nope! I don't take used ice cream. But what kind of hat?

I looked up a word because of that description back in the day - it is a bowler hat. :)

PS: And I was going to hand you brand new ice cream cone. With a cherry on top.

I'm reading the Hogfather right now. I'll keep an eye out for this.

Is it the Verruca gnome?

That's it, mabith! This game doesn't seem to be taking hold, but if you want to post a description of a character, it's your turn. :)

I don't have a print copy on hand so if someone else wants to choose a quote, go ahead.

I like the game though. Hope it picks up!

Might as well get into the spirits.

Apparently he ran a fruit stall and was married to a girl called Angie.

Good grief. I just finished the book and don't remember this one! But then, it's almost 3am here, so my excuse is that my brain isn't firing on all four pins. :)

Oh, it's the childhood bully of Sydney the wizard! Ronnie Jenks!

Indeed it is.

"He was pretty sure he knew where he stood in boots and shoes and that was that."

Would that be the beggar, "Arnold?" The one without legs? I can't remember his whole name and I have to run to work now, so can't look it up.

Nope. :)
