Readalong advice?

I'm going to be conducting an online readalong for my library's One Island One Book program in the winter -- I've never done this before and was wondering if anyone had any advice. I've roughed out a schedule of reading about 50 pages a week; I was planning to post something at the beginning of the week and try to drive traffic to the blog via Facebook and in-library promotion.
