I'm looking for reviewers for my SF novel, The Staff of Rahgorra. I'm offering a free ebook copy in any format from Smashwords.com to anyone willing to review my novel. Also, I'm more than willing to do review swaps. Anyone interested, please let me know. Here's a synopsis of the novel...
The Staff of Rahgorra
Another time, another galaxy. The mysterious crime lord Thrull has aspirations beyond controlling the underworld in a single corner of the galaxy. Thrull wants to bring the galaxy under one rule and build a legitimate Galactic Empire. For years he has been training an army of his followers and building his own private Armada. But he knows he must also find the Staff of Rahgorra, a weapon of mythic power.
To keep Thrull from finding the Staff the Galactic Security Bureau, peacekeepers of the galaxy, has pressed back into service a banished agent. Chameleon Del Rey was expelled from the GSB for avenging the death of a friend and for practicing the forbidden art of Jai Kin. Now he must train a young apprentice to use Jai Kin and find the Staff of Rahgorra before Thrull does in order to avoid a war that will stretch across the galaxy.

Have you read the How Authors can use LibraryThing FAQ? Self-promotion is only allowed in the Hobnob with Authors group, and is frowned upon elsewhere on the site.

I continue to chuckle. A person who posts a self-advertisement to a group called GROUP READS is probably not interested in reading an Author FAQ.

Most of the forums and blogs and other scripts I deal with, when someone new joins up, they get a rather lengthy form email explaining some things and maybe giving a link or two.
Maybe when someone signed up to LT, they should get a comment on their profile or a javascript popup within their browser with those explanations and the links.
The popup since we don't always get an address.

Again though, many of the group descriptions mention anything about promotion and the like. For all we know, authors may be looking at those descriptions, not seeing any mention of such and go ahead and make their postings while thinking that what they're doing is fine and dandy.

As shown by my link in #6, this user doesn't even care enough to read it when it's pointed out to him, directly, as a response to his previous post a year ago.

Ah, missed that. For future reference, please kindly remember that when I'm here, I'm usually on a dozen other tabs doing support and have a lot on my mind or going on around me.
