Tristram Shandy: Books 7-9

Discussion for books 7-9 of The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman.

I just finished book 7, and at last the story includes Tristam Shandy! I thought it would never really happen. I think this book gets easier to read as I go along. Only two more books to go!

I finished early this week, and overall I'm so glad we picked this book. Even with all the siege warfare bits. Uncle Toby's wooing of the widow was fantastic, too.

That is where I am now, with Uncle Toby falling in love. I have finished Book 8. And Corporal Trim also seems to have fallen in love at the same time. :)

I finished today and I thought that the last line pretty much summed it up! I am also glad that this book was chosen. I don't know when I would have gotten to it without a group read of it.

What is up for the last quarter of the year?

Will we have a December read this year?

Do we have a January or 1st Quarter read for 2012?
