Book tastes

I enjoy fiction, particularly historical fiction, cozy mysteries, and time travel. I prefer strong female protagonists. I am politically liberal, and not easily offended. I'm always looking for new series. My favorite authors include Diana Gabaldon, Connie Willis, Mary Doria Russell, Susanna Gregory, Sharyn McCrumb, Kage Baker, and Jodi Picoult. For historical fiction, my favorite time periods are Tudor England, and 1800's through 1920.

Don't get this!

Nonfiction (unless on my wish list), horror/gore, WW II time period, items presently on Kindle Unlimited, items from a series if have the initial book(s) but stopped buying them somewhere along the way (new releases of series where I'm up to date are fine, or items on my wish list), older (pre-2000) releases , as I have a lot of earlier books I've not yet managed to catalog.

Other notes

Have fun with this - if we have similar tastes, pick a book/books you've really enjoyed that I don't have. I will put some books in my wish list in case you are stuck for ideas, but don't feel compelled to stick with those.
