I accumulate titles faster than I can read them and I only enter them in this catalog when I'm procrastinating. It will be a while before my library is up to date. We may never get there. Also, my star ratings aren't necessarily evaluations of quality, but more of a haphazard way of tracking which books I've read or worked with recently.

A propos de moi

I am an assistant professor of English with a specialty in British literature of the long 18th century. I landed in the 18th century after a twisty journey through European modernism, early modern drama, and Asian American literature, and in my spare time I like to read contemporary and young adult fiction. I like narratives that test the limits of real, sentences that make language do things you didn't know it could do, and most anything with a wicked sense of humor.
