A propos de ma bibliothèque
Anyone wanting to know what books I've read since 1982 can refer to my Website, the URL for which is given below.
A propos de moi
I taught English in the Chicago City College system for 3 years. I have a moderately useless Ph.D. in American literature, and my dissertation was on William James.

I've worked primarily as a free-lance translator but have not done much literary translating. Most of my translating has been from Russian to English, in variety of subjects about which I have no claim to any special knowledge: mathematics, economics, sports training, mathematics education.

I'm sorry I haven't been very diligent about listing my books here. I keep hoping I'll have more time to participate.
