I, LibraryThing user @timspalding, created this account to record my late father's DVDs and VHS tapes.

The list isn't always interesting—he wasn't always discriminating and not everything was even unwrapped—but here and there I found something great and obscure which I remember watching as a kid but which, but for cataloging his collection, I would never have remembered.

So far I've scanned almost everything he bought. I have yet to enter some tapes I saw in the basement, some birding stuff, and all the movies he taped off the TV. The last of these is probably twice what's here.
