A propos de ma bibliothèque
Favorite authors include, but aren't limited to: Anne Tyler, Elinor Lipman, Barbara Pym, Virginia Woolf, Anita Shreve, and Barbara Kingsolver. My library here on LT is mostly made up of some of the books I've enjoyed most over the last 30 years. Trying to make an exhaustive list of what I've read is just impossible, and I'd rather have suggestions made from the books I enjoyed more.
A propos de moi
I'm an IT technician in a university library, but most of my "so called career" was as a paraprofessional cataloger. I still haven't discovered "what I want to be when I grow up" but I enjoy reading, writing, making art quilts and beading. My degree was in English and I started graduate school in literature, as well, and then I realized that I don't enjoy "dissecting" literature--I want to enjoy the pleasure of reading. What a relief it was go to from "have to" books to true pleasure reading.
