- I have always loved books, since before I even knew how to read them. I have books from my childhood, and my mother's childhood, and I've been adding to my library ever since. I can't even throw away my college textbooks. One day I want to build a bookshelf that will span the walls and hold all my books so I can see them all at once. From my New Grove Music Encyclopedias to my Care Bears illustrated series.
- A propos de moi
- My two favorite things to do are reading and singing (no surprise there). I really dig listening to blues and cooking with my husband, and I love going to outdoor concerts, and dancing the summer nights away. When it's cold outside, I'm happy to be inside by the fire, trying out Guitar Hero on my husband's Wii, or watching guilty pleasure television (Reaper, Lost, Top Chef). I love to plan trips and vacations (making lists drives me wild), and then get out there and toss it all to the wind and make it up as I go along. Flexibilty, change, keeping an open mind, and altruism are all important to me. I have been raised a Buddhist and I try to model my lifestyle on the teachings of Nicherin Daishonin and SGI president Daisaku Ikeda.
