A propos de ma bibliothèque
We are expanding this library, and are especially interested in non-Engish-language publications (which we might not find ourselves). If you would like to suggest titles for SHARP's library (including English-language ones), please do so via LibraryThing comments.

Titles need to be:

1. Published within the last 10 years
2. Single-authored books directly related to book history
or
3. Edited collections and special themed issues of journals (i.e. not individual articles)

Please also:

1. Flag up multiple authors (listed in the order they appear on the title page)
2. In the case of non-English-language titles, where possible include an English translation of the title (and any other important information), or otherwise a one-line description of the subject-matter.
3. Suggest tags for foreign-language titles (original language and, if possible, an English translation).

[Note to SHARP members: any titles included in the SHARP News bibliographies will eventually find their way onto this list as we transcribe them.]

Thank you!
A propos de moi
The Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing was founded to create a global network for book historians working in a broad range of scholarly disciplines. Research addresses the composition, mediation, reception, survival, and transformation of written communication in material forms including marks on stone, script on parchment, printed books and periodicals, and new media. Perspectives range from the individual reader to the transnational communications network. With more than 1000 members in over twenty countries, SHARP works in concert with affiliated academic organizations around the world to support the study of book history and print culture.
