A propos de ma bibliothèque
My library has four principle sections:

~ Science Fiction/Fantasy
~ History largely focused on the 17th Century, in particular the 'wars of the three kingdoms'
~ Guide books to historical sites and buildings and
~ O/S maps

It consists of titles I physically own, not everything I have read as while I tend to keep most fiction (except those I didn't like), non fiction tends to be pruned periodically, for example I have disposed of most of the books I bought in support of my various academic studies.

Most of the fiction derives from my commuting days when I would could get through 2 or 3 books a week.

Currently my reading time is mainly taken up with 17th Century history, in support of my re-enacting (see the pic)- but even here I am currently acquiring faster than I am reading.
A propos de moi
I'm a retired academic librarian, who spent most of his career in polytechnic/university libraries and has an alter-ego as a 17th Century Royalist.
