While I'll read a good non-fiction, I need to be fully immersed and transported to another place, life, and time. Dark humor is a favorite with some sci fi mixed in. If I can cry, laugh, and feel suspense I'm going to love it....A good detailed historical fiction is great too

Married to the funniest man in the world, I'm a home cook and avid reader mostly to kill time on the subway. Owner of the two most irritatingly perfect cats on the planet. Originally from Texas and Arizona, there just isn't good Mexican food in New York. I'm constantly looking for the perfect enchilada recipe. My favorite restaurant is Mercado Juarez in DFW. Thank god they sell their salsa commercially!
