Maisie Young began studying art, but ended up with degrees in psychology and law. Her greatest education and joy comes from being a mom. After overcoming many obstacles to become a mother, her writing is infused with understanding, experience and a deep appreciation for the gifts and responsibilities children bring to life. She lives with her family in Nashville, where she enjoys the plentiful BBQ and massive lack of snow. Her favorite adventures have been exploring the French countryside while potty-training a toddler, snorkeling with barracuda in Mexico and riding many horses plus one dolphin.
