A propos de ma bibliothèque
I use Library Thing to "catalog" what I read, not necessarily what I own. I am an avid library-user, so I don't buy or keep a lot of books. Usually what I buy gets donated to the library afterwards. I have kept a database of books I've read for many years, so I am systematically adding titles from my database to LT.
A propos de moi
I was a librarian for about 23 years, 15 of them in a public library and 8 years in a community college. I love to read. My favorite genres are romance, mystery, suspense, chick lit...anything entertaining. I also enjoy well-written non-fiction. I belong to a book club and when I read for the club, I have been introduced to some wonderful books and authors I might not otherwise have picked up, like Khaled Hosseini, Jodi Picoult, John Irving and more. I was a young adult librarian for 6 years and I LOVE YA literature and I especially love discussing it with adults and teens.
