A propos de ma bibliothèque
My main areas of collecting have been Peter Pauper Press, Jonathan Swift/Gulliver's Travels, Japan, pottery, and Japanese pottery, and Judaica. However, my reading tastes are pretty broad, including science fiction, fantasy, mysteries, history, historical fiction (Aubrey/Maturin, etc), contemporary fiction, classics and just about anything that catches my fancy. Most of the books I've read are no longer in my collection, so I've taken this opportunity to make this a reading list as well as a library catalog.
A propos de moi
I'm a librarian (of course, aren't we all?). One of my passions has been Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels, resulting in a Web site on the subject: http://www.jaffebros.com/lee/gulliver/. I've also been a potter, in my spare time, and that interest has taken me to Japan three times. My most recent area of interest has been in Judaism and I'm now selecting Jewish Studies materials as part of my work: http://library.ucsc.edu/collect/jewish.html. All of these interests are reflected in my collection.
