I love reading books written for young adults. I have too many favorites to list.

As far as books I read not in the YA category, I enjoy paranormal romance, particularly vampire and werewolf. Authors like Laurell K. Hamilton, Maggie Shayne, and Charlaine Harris. I also enjoy the Harry Dresden series by Jim Butcher. I tend to go in phases. I'll get on a kick with a new series and read everything I can get my hands on by that author, but then I'll move onto something else.

My name is Karin. I am an Asst. Professor at Sam Houston State University. I teach in the Library Science Department. Before taking the position at SHSU I was a library media specialist at a middle school in Norman, OK. I have been married for 20 years and have a cute little Chihuahuaand multiple Longhorns. I enjoy reading, watching TV and movies, and working on the computer. I have my Ph.D. in English Education and love making my husband call me Dr.
