Main interests these days are explorations of the human psyche and various 'liberation technologies' - from eastern (esp. Indian) spiritual systems and western esoteric tradition, through to more scientific approaches (psychology, psychotherapy, etc). I'm a long-time student of traditional Indian tantra so my library is currently skewed heavily in that direction.

I joined LT to encourage myself to read more (my reading career has been patchy at best thus far, with the odd exception of researching niche subjects). The aim is to focus in on key areas of interest by scouring the LT database, and picking up on others' recommendations along the way. I mainly prefer non-fiction and tend to read for research rather than pleasure. Let's see if I can be persuaded to change that habit.
