- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- Rating system:
★ - hated it/possibly didn't even finish it (lousy)
★★ - it was okay, I suppose (mediocre)
★★★ - enjoyed it (good)
★★★★ - loved it! (very good)
★★★★★ - all-time favorite (amazing)
Average rating:(3.4)
I try to rate books according to their genre. My reasoning is usually "this is exceptional for a children's book" or "this is not bad for a murder mystery".
My tags:
I tag books according to genre (e.g. sci-fi), decade of first publication (e.g. 1960s), country of origin of the author (e.g. Canadian lit) and subject matter (e.g. gender, discrimination). I use collections rather than tags to separate between fiction, non-fiction, poetry, plays, and comic books.

- I am a translator working from Greek, Romanian and Spanish into English. I live in Barcelona. I like reading in parks. Sociology & anthropology, psycholinguistics, whizkids and child prodigies, polar regions, postcolonial theory, immigration, music/movies/books/anything pop culture, semantics, travelers/explorers/expats, in-group bias, identity politics are some subjects I enjoy reading about. I am fond of winter clothes, like watching the rain from buses and trains and am often spotted wearing silly band t-shirts.
