just a smattering of books on my shelves, and a few really good ones I've borrowed from people.
A propos de moi
I'm a grad student studying forestry, and an environmentalist recovering from toil in hideous bureaucracy. A lifelong reader/learner, I really got into reading when we picked up the Hobbit and Little Women in elementary school, and just built on from there. Summers have me often reading in excess of 30 titles... to make up for the more pedantic reading I must do during the school year.

I have a compulsion for finding copies of the books I enjoy that don't have movie-related photos/images on their covers. Because, inevitably, the book is better than the movie, and I'd hope to maintain my thoughts of the book separate from the film-adapted version.

... and I also nurse a heavy predilection for Can-Lit.
