A propos de ma bibliothèque
the rating system that works for me:
1/2 star = I probably didn't finish it, or wished I hadn't.
1 - 1 1/2 stars = barely worth the time.
2 - 2 1/2 stars = O.K., amusing,
3 stars = Good yes, certainly worth the time; engaging
in some way, entertaining at the very least.
3 1/2 stars = very good; found the writing good, plot,
characters drew me in; very satisfying.
4 stars = Excellent. Engages my interest well past the end of
the book. The thought of a sequel or another book by
that author might cause a little salivation.
4 1/2 - 5 stars = Has it all for me, I purr; total
engagement; transported. All senses locked in, I can
taste the prose and it is delicious.
