- A propos de moi
- Emory University’s Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Life engages the university community in the creation of an affirming and just campus environment while supporting the development of students of all gender and sexual identities. To achieve this, the Office of LGBT Life facilitates educational programs and trainings for faculty, staff, alumnae/i and students; supports, advocates for, and empowers individual students and student groups; maintains a space to build community and distribute resources; collaborates with campus and community groups to ensure access and equity for trans/queer students; works diligently to enfranchise students of intersecting identities through the understanding of the complexities of ability, class, faith/religious tradition, gender, race, sex, sexual identity, and other social identities; and develops best practices in gender and sexuality support services in higher education.
