- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- When my partner and I decided to buy a home together, I bought an entire wall's worth of bookshelves, plus a few...almost 100 linear feet of book storage *should* do me for a while. My tastes tend toward 19th & 20th century British and American lit, with a good number of translations and historical studies thrown in for spice. Oh yeah, and a fascination with mass-produced childrens' series fiction from the 1940's and 50's. And Scandinavia. And gender theory. And...
- A propos de moi
- I am a voracious reader, knitter, sewer, letter-writer, windowbox-gardener, traveler and watcher of DVD's while drinking a cup of tea. One of the following things about me is not true; can you guess which?
1. When I was little, a petite, tone-deaf white girl, I wanted to be Paul Robeson when I grew up.
2. I have seen Laura Bush in my underwear.
3. I have a pirate relative who used to go by the moniker "Roderick the Terrible." - Lieu (géographique)
