À mon sujetI am a technical writer at a really, really big software company in Redmond, WA. I've been a tech writer for about 16 years and involved with high tech/software for almost two decades. Before I got a real job, I was a theology student, before that I was a history major. History has been a major love since my youth. I owe that to my father, who gave me a sense of the adventure of past times, and to Sir Winston Churchill, whose History of the English Speaking Peoples remains one of the best adventures in reading that I can recall from my youth.
À propos de ma bibliothèqueMy library is mostly history and mostly military history. I have a smattering of poetry and literature, but the books I buy and keep are non-fiction. My experience as a kid waiting weeks or months for something to come by interlibrary loan taught me that the only way to get a book is to buy it.
GroupesAmerican Civil War, Ancient History, Classically Liberal, Late Roman, Military History, Wargamer
