Any book worth reading is worth owning. I can't stand the feel of a mass market paperback, and prefer hardcover or trade paperback editions.

A propos de moi

Reading is the best way to travel, and the most comforting way to know we're not alone. I prefer literary character-driven fiction where simple truths and/or preposterous situations expose our common human feelings, thoughts and frailties. A new work by a favorite author is usually cause for celebration. If they disappoint me, as John Irving and Anne Tyler have done recently, I abandon them.
