- Most of the book here I do not own. I have either borrowed them from the library to read or given them out after reading. I own most of the classics listed though. I haven't listed most children's books that I've read, mainly because there are so many and I don't remember most of them. Also I didn't list college or graduate textbooks, some mass market fiction, and the many books I've read that I don't remember the names of and aren't on my shelves. I suppose I'll eventually add the latter as they pop into my head.

- I LOVE, LOVE reading, and it's one of my favorite things to do anytime, anywhere. Especially fiction, but non-fiction too. I probably should have been a librarian or editor or curator. My favorite genres include period pieces, classics (especially by Austen, the Brontes and others listed), historical fiction (usually with a female heroin), science fiction that interweaves with historical fiction (Outlander series for example) and future dystopia fiction and fantasy (usually of the young adult/adult type crossover).
