A propos de ma bibliothèque
Some of the books in my library I swear I 'borrowed' from my older brothers and never returned. Some are from used book stores, others from clearance/bargain sections, and a few I purchased when I used to work as a bookseller (with the too tempting discount).

As for subjects, my oldest titles revolve around Arthurian times and unicorns. Next oldest are Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, Choose Your Own Adventure type books. (I blame my middle older brother who got me into D&D.) My interests then went into Shakespeare, Japan, Druidism/Magic, Culture/Travel books, writing help, etc. Some titles I picked up as reference materials.

Lately though I'm having a craving for Historical Fiction, especially involving Vikings or set in Japan. So if anyone has some recommendations for books in this area, I'm all too willing to check them out.

1. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondō
2. Brotopia by Emily Chang
3. The last unicorn by Peter S. Beagle
4. Green Rider by Kristen Britain
5. Tomorrow will be different by Sarah McBride
6. When we rise by Cleve Jones
7. In real life by Cory Doctorow
8. Call me by your name by Andre Aciman (DNF)
9. The art of saying no by Damon Zahariades
10. Rainbow boys by Alex Sanchez
11. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
12. The bullet journal method by Ryder Carroll
13. The library book by Susan Orlean

A propos de moi
Married to GiulianoM on 10/10/10.

"And lead me not into temptation.. especially bookstores."

I have always been a book lover, and spent many childhood summer days at the local public library. I spent too much time in bookstores to the point I was forcefully dragged away from them from time to time.

Today I still spend way too much time in bookstores buying more books than I have time to read. (Anyone else have this problem?) And of course during my life I have 'solved' this problem by doing a work study at my college's library, then working at Waldenbooks, and now have worked at 3 other libraries.

Currently I work full time in a paraprofessional cataloger at a law library. Apparently cataloging 40hrs a week isn't enough for me as I have the compelling need to catalog my home collection as well. (A couple of times I was up late adding and tweaking tags in my library when I should have been resting up for another work day.)
