I have loved reading and books from the time I was a little girl reading under the covers late at night with a flashlight. I love collecting old, out of print books by favorite authors. Some of my treasures include an edition of Best Loved Poems by Annie Johnson Flint and many books by John Henry Jowett. I also have a rare edition of A Man Of The Word, the biography of G. Campbell Morgan. But above all the books I have, I love THE BOOK, the Bible, God's Word. My favorite translation is the New American Standard Bible, but I use many other translations and paraphrases in my quiet time. I look towards every book I have as something to think in, live in, and interact with during my time alone with God. Commentaries on the Psalms are also a favorite for me, and I collect quite a few of them. I have a one bookcase where I keep all my favorite books of devotion by such authors as Amy Carmichael, A.W. Tozer, and Andrew Murray. My books are organized in my library according to topics, authors, and commentaries.
