A propos de ma bibliothèque
Once a book is in my possession the parting is too hard. Donating books, recycling books, selling books are painful--what if I want to read them again? Check a reference? Show the person who gave it to me that I appreciated it enough to keep it around (even if I never read it)? I never know when that Invertebrate Biology book from my junior year in college might be useful again. Or that Trixie Belden book I read when I was a kid. Or the books on vegan cooking a certain family member gives me every winter. So I'm inundated, and I love it.
