A propos de ma bibliothèque
YA literature, fantasy, girl heroes, social commentary, deviant cultures, "classic" western literature, and any book that i can analyze and perseverate over days after i've read the final page.
A propos de moi
Currently in grad school, training to be a "real" librarian, but I'm usually down for some magical adventures and sweet sociological discussions (especially about class and oppression). Harry Potter has ruled my life for the past six years, and I'm hoping to be able to move on soon. I love action-girl protagonists; I think the publishing industry is finally realizing that horse-girl books are okay, but what we really want is stories about girls being daring and adventurous. Now we just need to get some more non-anglo girls to get in on the adventures...

I love obsessing over a story. Series are great because I can formulate a ton of theories and spend days thinking about character motivation, themes, and plot direction. I'm sure my friends get annoyed with me ranting about Snape's duplicitous character or how the SOUE could possibly fit into the steampunk genre, so if anyone else in interested in some sweet dialog about obsession-inducing books, I'm probs in!!
