A propos de ma bibliothèque
An incomplete, slipshod list of books read and books to be read, including a good number of audiobooks...
A propos de moi
I'm a librarian in Massachusetts who loves to give reading suggestions, whether asked or not, a specialty known in the library world as "reader's advisory". I read a lot -- mostly literary fiction, genre fiction, cookbooks, short stories and memoirs (especially stunt memoirs) -- and listen to audiobooks. Newer favorite authors include Tayari Jones, Elizabeth Kelly, Jennifer Haigh, Emma Straub, Joshua Henkin, Laurie Frankel, Jennifer Egan, Lev Grossman, David Mitchell, Laurie R. King, Lionel Shriver, Martha Southgate, Penny Vincenzi, Michael Connelly, Lee Child, Patrick Rothfuss, Martha Southgate, Zadie Smith, Junot Diaz, PG Wodehouse, Louise Penny, Ben Aaronovitch,G. M. Malliet, and Jasmine Guillory. Older favorites are Lorrie Moore, Anne Tyler, Ian McEwan, Susan Howatch, Jane Langton, Laurie Colwin, Connie Willis, and David Mitchell.
