À mon sujetI work as a reference librarian at Eastern Illinois University. In my spare time, I'm a writer and book review editor. My latest book, Historical Fiction II, a guide to historical novels published between 2004 and mid-2008, was published in April 2009. The previous volume, Historical Fiction: A Guide to the Genre (2005), looks at novels appearing between 1995 and 2004. I also review historical fiction for Booklist and the Globe & Mail.
À propos de ma bibliothèqueI read and collect historical novels, and revel in collecting (and reading, of course) obscure biographical novels on royalty. Frequent subjects in my collection: historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, British sagas, linguistics, French literature, romance. The computer books and technothrillers belong to my husband. I have about 1200 more books besides what's listed here, but they don't have ISBNs and I'm not up to entering them all in manually.
I'm officially out of bookshelves, but new books are still arriving. The double stacking has begun, and I'm starting to build book towers on the floor next to my desk. One of these days I'll get around to tagging everything, but it may take a while.
