Zia Jacobs currently resides in rural Alabama, and has lived throughout the southern U.S. her entire life. She has rarely ventured elsewhere, but aspires to travel the world one day.

She spends most of her time blogging, writing short stories and poetry, and working on various creative projects. She has previously worked as a blogger for local businesses, and as a ghostwriter/proofreader/editor for indie authors. Her short story "The Redemption of Judas Ray" was published in the first WDC Anthology in 2013. She is also an active manga proofreader at Easy Going Scans. (egscans.com).

Her hobbies include reading (her favorite genres are classic literature, folklore, and anything with a dark or psychological theme), studying foreign languages, and drinking red wine while listening to folk music... or 80's goth rock, whichever she's in the mood for at the time.
