Eclectic: I am concerned about environmental and economic sustainability. My collection includes various journals, volumes in Aboriginal history, culture and spirituality, archaeology of the Canadian Shield in particular (especially pictograph research), quaternary geology, specialized maps and rare books. I have minor collections in poetry, literature, music, art and travel.

I am going through a transition in the way I access, use and generate print and stories. Google has been the biggest change of the last decade for me. Daily I use a number of searchable databases to access quickly the most recent and most targetted information I need in my research. My professional writing often is as a team member. Increasingly I am generating stories and results of my research in video made for television. The odd time I nestle with a novel, but often I am checking multiple sources including my personal library to address the issue of research which is at hand.
