I am most fond of literary fiction and narrative non-fiction, especially stories based on historical events and stories that broaden my understanding of cultures and the world outside the USA. I love reading about strong, smart women. I greatly admire authors who have a flair for humor, something that is all too lacking these days. That said, I enjoy many exceptions to those general reading parameters.

A propos de moi

I love reading books, writing books and editing books ... and articles, too. Reading offers a window on the world and I yearn to explore as much of the world as I can in my lifetime. I am the author of two books, with many more in the works, and am active in multiple book clubs. I also write reviews for Foreword Reviews.
