The books I have added are a small selection of those I have read in the last couple of years, or those that are memorable for some reason. I particularly love Thomas Hardy, Graham Greene & Melvyn Bragg, but have a real addiction to crime fiction and historical novels also. Some of the best books of the last 2 years have been YA fiction but particularly 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins and anything by Marcus Sedgwick but maybe 'Blood Red, Snow White' as the best. 'The Gift of Rain' by Tan Twan Eng, 'A Long,Long Way' by Sebastian Barry and 'Wolf Hall' by Hilary Mantel are my favourites of the moment, but I am eagerly waiting for the new CJ Sansom, which I hope to have very shortly! Away from the historical fiction Kavita Daswani's 'Everything Happens for a Reason' and Chetan Bhagat's 'One Night in a Call Centre' are wonderful escapist fiction.

I love books and reading obviously, and am a school librarian in South Yorkshire, UK.
