À mon sujetI write books, arrange exhibitions, collect, curate and deal in transport publicity and model railways. The website http://www.fionnconsultancy.co.uk tells you a lot more. Early in 2009 most of the Forsythe Collection (not the stock) was saved for the nation and relocated to the National Railway Museum Search Engine archive. News from York is brought together at http://www.forsytheonthenrm.blogspot.com/ . Railwayana, Public Transport, Local History and Nauticalia auctions were moderated at http://www.specialistauctions.com (now ceased). The best current link to see what I am offering is at http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/robertatforsythe/m.html . I welcome interest from people wanting auctions set up from our for sale material on a no obligation basis. Normally, I respond to any communication within 72 hours and if that is not possible post here to notify of absence. Since September 2010 http://fionnconsultancy.co.uk/ has become our professional front door. For chat check out the yahoo group Transport Timetables or Facebook. For niche interests Facebook has to be an excellent way to find potential buyers. I am on Facebook as Robert Forsythe (Prudhoe if you have to add a location) and Robertatforsythe. Friends welcome.
À propos de ma bibliothèqueA sizeable library covering many subjects but railways, transport and industrial heritage subjects dominate. There are many maps and the subject of grey literature is huge hence the collection now at York as above. The library in all aspects is as much my wife Fiona Forsythe's as mine. She is the chartered librarian with two degrees in that subject from University of Northumbria at Newcastle and from UCW Aberystwyth.
