- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- Not as big as it once was, probably growing again for the next few years.
It will take me a while to get them all entered, but I've got a good start on my SF collection, especially my Asimov books.
My SCA-related/History selection used to be a LOT bigger, but in a fit of madness, I donated five boxes of books to a raffle for the Kingdom of Northshield. - A propos de moi
- Well, I'm just this guy, you know?
But seriously, I've been a major book geek since I was a kid, binge-reading Tom Swift books from my school library in kindergarten. My parents had this really odd collection of 60's SF, and that led me into quite different reading than Tom Swift.
And then I discovered Tolkien and CS Lewis and L'Engle, and the world got even bigger and more wonderful.
Much later, I discovered I liked science, politics, and history. This led to a passion for physics and cosmology, the Systems view of science, political economy, and world history. My interest in history and wanting to try recreate it led me to join the Society for Creative Anachronism, where I am known as John Bartholomew of Flanders, or Jack for short. - Lieu (géographique)
